Biography:
Griffin Cartwright was born 20 years ago in Galway, Ireland, to parents Marie and Frank Cartwright. She was an only child, and despite being such, she was never spoiled. Her parents were both working-class people- her mother owned a bakery and cafe in town, her father worked for the bank- and they provided for her, the best they could. Griffin had a wonderful personality- it seemed that anyone who came into contact with her, was automatically taken with her. The thing that drew people in first, were her pale green eyes. They were such an interesting colour, that people always asked about them.
When Griffin was just a little girl, her mother gave her her first pair of ballet slippers. From that point on, she almost always never took them off. All she ever wanted to do was dance. By the time she was 13 years old, Griffin's talent was painfully obvious. She was classically training in ballet and tap, and was doing tours around Ireland with her dance studio. She was a bright girl, too- and kept up with her studies, even while she was on the road. Her parents kept her grounded, and she had always been exceptionally greatful for that. When she had turned 17, she had been offered a scholarship to a top-seeded university in Dublin, to study dance- and without hesitation, she took it. In Dublin she spent her time with her roomates, and taking courses in what was her life...dance.
3 years into university, Griffin's life was finally starting to have some purpose. She was 20 now, and feeling as if, she could do anything. She would be graduating in a few months time- she had already been offered jobs working on major tours, and even choreographing. To say that things were falling into place for her, was an understatement. She had come home for reading break, to see her parents and spend some time away from the craziness that was Dublin- and that was when things started to happen....
She had gone out to a club in Galway with some of her girlfriends, and that was where she had met Heiden. She hadn't known, at the time, who or what he was- all she had known was that he had been one of the most beautiful guys she had ever seen, and he seemed to only have eyes for her. But he vanished that night, almost as if he had never existed. But for a week, he haunted her dreams- she saw his face everywhere, and she couldn't shake it. She started to wonder if she was going crazy! That next weekend, she had gone out with the same group of girls, still a little dazed, and as she left the bar- she felt a strange sensation, as if someone was watching her. She began to make her way home, and as she crossed the street- he came out of nowhere. He lured her in, using his weird mind tricks and his charm, and she- like a moth to a flame, was helpless to stop it....He brought her back to the castle- and with some twisted promise, he knocked her unconcious.....
Ahem.
Without going to the hideously gory details of her demise, Griffin ended up becoming Heiden's charge. And although she does not know the real reason behind the whole thing, she would follow him, anywhere. Not that he was planning to let her out of his sight. She was, young, unpredictable, and yes- very dangerous. Maybe one day she would know the story, but she wasn't sure she truly wanted to know. Heiden's services were no longer required in Galway, and deciding he needed a change of scenery, and a new city to torment, he sent off a letter to the MoTC in Boston. Griffin was curious as to what was in store for her and Heiden there, in her new life as an immortal...
