Dear Laurent,
We ask of you to accept our gift in the form of a vampire by the name of Isabell. She requested leave of us for unknown reasons, but because she has been little to no trouble to us we granted her request. So as such we are sending her to you as a gift, for keeping hold of your city and not bringing our eye your way unless it is in good graces. Isabella is a Mora and very well trained in the art of torture, not so well trained as some in the court but she should be something you may need or require. We ask of you to accept her. Also we will be sending a small guard with her, do not feel threaten it is for her own safety and comfort we do.
Neatly at the bottom off to the side, stained with blood, was the mark of council. Then of course the develivery boy, a human servant fromt he council couldn't be much of any proof of the reality of the letter.

Laurent would recieve the letter and read it over a few times before he penned his own response to it, sealing it in wax with his crest.
Let her come. She will be welcome in my City.
Laurent
He gave the letter to the messenger and dismissed him, returning to his own business.
